Hello, my name is Julie. I, like you, am a Mod(ern) Writer.

I created this blog to discuss everything that being a writer in today’s world encompasses – Emails, Headers, Product Descriptions, Text Messages, Social Media, and yes, even About Pages. And that’s just for starters. 

But writing for today (or even the future) requires something often overlooked: the past. I love looking back at literature, speeches, and advertisements to gain insight and inspiration.
